THE GREATEST POWER IN THE UNIVERSE IS THE SPOKEN WORD OF GOD!
Bible teaching and preaching should be powerful, penetrating the very heart and spirit of the listener. It is not just communication, but there is an anointed impartation of life — where you dispense the treasure that God has imparted to you — energized by the Holy Spirit! When this happens people are truly hearing the life-giving Word, and what God is saying to His church by the Holy Spirit and glory comes down.

1 Thessalonians 1:5 Our preaching of the gospel came to you not only in word, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and with full conviction.
1 Corinthians 2:4 My speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power.
Norman Robertson Q&A:
Q: What is the mission and purpose of Norman Robertson Ministries?
A: As God-empowered ministers we have the privilege of being transmitters of the greatest message ever heard — the gospel of Jesus Christ. Delivering the life-changing message of the gospel is to plunder hell and populate heaven!
Think about it: Reaching the world with the gospel involves transferring people from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light — and that’s an impossibility apart from the grace and power of God! It’s why I am passionate and serious about leading people and churches to grow strong in Christ. Above all I want my ministry to be Bible-based, God-glorifying, and anointed to make a lasting impact in people lives.
Q: What message does the church need to hear most in this day and age?
A: Now more than ever, I believe we need churches today that are Jesus-exalting, God-centered, Bible-saturated, Spirit-filled, soul-winning, and missions-advancing … strong churches that transform communities and impact cities. These are the kind of churches that are marked with God’s blessing.
I strongly believe that no church can rise any higher than its pulpit. As the pulpit goes, so goes the church. Martyn Lloyd-Jones said it best, “What is preaching? It is theology on fire! Preaching is theology coming through a man who is on fire, and the chief end of preaching is to give people a sense of God and His presence.”
Q: Over the years God has opened doors for your ministry in many churches — both nationwide and internationally, which places are among your favorites?
A: That’s tough to answer! Because there’s too many great churches here in the US that I could name — but I’ll give notable mention to my 11 ministry trips to Alaska, as well as frequent speaking events in the Hawaiian Islands for the King’s Cathedral in Maui. Another of my favorite places to speak is Mountaintop Faith Ministries in Las Vegas — a remarkable church with awesome pastors.
Internationally there are scores of amazing churches where I’ve had the honor and privilege to speak. Here are some that stand out…
- Centro Evangelistico, San Jose, Costa Rica
- Cathedral of Praise, Manila, Philippines
- Kensington Temple, London, England
- Assemblies of God churches in Portugal and Germany
- Victory Life Centre, Perth, Australia
- Whitewell Metropolitan Tabernacle, Belfast, Northern Ireland
- Renewal Christian Centre, Solihull, England
Q: What do you believe are the keys to fruitful ministry in the twenty-first century?
A: I’m convinced one of the greatest sins in ministry is to bore people with the Bible. As preachers we need the infusion of divine life. The weapons of our warfare are total dependence on the anointing of the Holy Spirit, the bold and unapologetic proclamation of God’s Word, and the power of intercessory prayer.
I strongly believe that God is big enough and the gospel is powerful enough, through the dynamic working of the Holy Spirit, to ensure the success of God’s mission.
Q: Norman you have a busy itinerary across the US and overseas… what’s the easiest way for pastors to invite you to speak?
A: I’m grateful that the Lord by His grace has kept my ministry in demand with a full schedule in churches, conferences, and leadership gatherings. However, in recent years to sharpen my ministry focus, I have limited speaking engagements to about 150 times a year. [PDF: SPEAKER SNAPSHOT]
