DOES YOUR CHURCH HAVE MORE THAN ENOUGH FUNDS TO DO MINISTRY?
HOW EXCITED IS YOUR CHURCH ABOUT GENEROSITY AND STEWARDSHIP?
Flourishing churches are great churches doing great things — they have three vital elements: a bold vision, an atmosphere of strong faith, and they are financially healthy with a congregation of generous givers!
Today’s changing and complex world calls for biblical, relevant, life-changing local churches that follow God’s vision. There’s no shortcut to a strong church. It takes a clear vision, time, work, anointed leadership, a divine strategy… and it takes money.
GOD, MONEY, AND YOUR CHURCH
Money is a hot topic in our day. People don’t like to be told what to do with their money. For a lot of people, it’s their biggest idol. Many people ruin their lives in the pursuit of money. They sell their integrity and their character for it.
God’s Word contains more verses about money than about heaven, hell, or prayer … Countless Christians are not aware of the connection between their faith and their finances.
No financial plan is better than the one outlined in God’s Word. When we become true stewards and learn to give God’s way: cheerfully, faithfully, and expectantly the Lord rewards us with abundant blessings.
Too many church members are living in a prison of financial bondage and stress. The good news is we can embrace and activate biblical principles of stewardship and God’s financial plan to free ourselves from being strapped.
REACH THE NEXT LEVEL
As a pastor and church leader you are serious about your calling and the ministry set before you. God has given you a unique vision for your church … a bold vision of expansion and growth with great potential to be realized. He has opened many doors of opportunity, but these opportunities create new challenges and especially in today’s church environment.
Financial resources are a necessity to fulfill the vision. The water is free but the piping costs! Growth is expensive. More people require more accommodations, more services, more media, more programs, more square footage, more pastoral care, and just plain more of everything. You need more resources to reach the next level and do bigger things for God.
ENLARGE YOUR EXPECTATIONS
As a pastor and church leader you want your ministry to be growing, increasing, abounding, flourishing, and reproducing much fruit! You want go further, faster. You want your church to make a real difference for God’s Kingdom and be a greater blessing that’s lasting in its impact.
The good news is that God is a God of increase and His plan for your church is to cause you to come into a place of overflow, into abundance — both spiritually and financially — so that you can fund your vision and reach more lives for Christ.
BUILD A CULTURE OF FAITH-FILLED GIVING
God calls His people to be wise and faithful stewards and tithing is a good starting point for biblical stewardship. My book, Tithing: God’s Financial Plan has sold over a million copies, and is a perennial best-seller used by thousands of churches including:
- Lakewood Church, Houston, TX
- Valley Family Church, Kalamazoo, MI
- Greater Mt. Calvary Holy Church, Washington, DC
- Lawton First Assembly, Lawton, OK
- Light of the World Christian Church, Indianapolis, IN
- Greater Grace Temple, Detroit, MI
- Abundant Living Family Church, Rancho Cucamonga, CA
When I talk about stewardship, true biblical stewardship, it doesn’t mean professional fundraising or a capital campaign. I’m talking about the grace of giving and establishing your congregation with a strong biblical foundation of honoring God financially and releasing His marvelous provision.
The truth is: Everything belongs to God, and all of us are called to use what He has given us for His glory. Giving is a heart issue, not a money issue.
As a pastor you have the awesome responsibility to make the right choices for the success of your church and its future. That includes empowering the giving of your church and that’s where my ministry can help build a culture of generous, God-honoring stewardship in your church.
EQUIP YOUR CONGREGATION
There are key factors that cause some churches to thrive with abundant resources while others stagnate and struggle with shrinking budgets. Pastors and church leaders are always trying to figure out how to get their people to give 10 percent or more. Perhaps that’s why I receive twice as many church invitations to speak on God’s master financial plan and the spiritual laws of increase than anything else.
I have known Dr. Robertson for many years and each time he has spoken at our church his life-changing ministry has captivated and blessed our congregation tremendously. Even in the midst of recession and the toughest economic times he came to help us and raised the faith level of our people. Most importantly, our church income soared and we easily exceeded every financial goal.
His ministry went above and beyond our expectations and brought overwhelming success and a time of celebration. That’s why I am delighted to recommend Dr. Robertson’s ministry knowing he will bring to your church a reputation of integrity, a proven track record of success, and impart a spirit of generous giving that is contagious — all motivated by a sincere love for Jesus and His church.
